The short version: Timeloop keeps everything you create on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
This Privacy Policy explains how Timeloop (the "App") handles information. The App is provided by Matan Orland ("we," "us," "our"), who is the data controller for the limited purposes described below. By using the App you acknowledge this Policy.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our own servers. Timeloop has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no server backend operated by us.
The content you create — workouts, blocks, loops, icons, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not accessible to us.
Because your data never leaves your device through the App, it is protected by your device's own security (such as your passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS data protection). We do not maintain a copy of your data and therefore cannot access, export, or disclose it.
Timeloop offers optional paid features (an auto-renewing subscription and a one-time purchase) through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payments, receipts, billing, and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, payment card, or billing details, and we do not store your purchase history on our own servers. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated sales and subscription reports that do not identify you. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Timeloop contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or software development kits (SDKs). We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
If — and only if — you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and usage statistics with us. This information is provided by Apple, cannot be used by us to identify you, and you can turn it off at any time in that iOS setting.
We do not share user data with third parties, because we do not collect any. The only third party involved in the App is Apple, solely to deliver the App and process purchases as described above. Any data Apple handles in that role is subject to Apple's own privacy protections.
If you have enabled iCloud Backup or encrypted device backups, your Timeloop data may be included in those backups. Those backups are controlled by you and by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us.
Since your data lives only on your device, you control its retention. You can delete any workout at any time within the App, and deleting the App removes all of its data from your device. We hold no copy to retain or delete.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because we do not hold any of your personal data, these rights are largely moot with respect to us — you can already access and delete all of your data directly on your device. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To the extent we process any personal data, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and supporting the App, or performance of the App you requested.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not collect personal information from you, so there is nothing to request, delete, or opt out of on our side. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information; we honor these rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Your data remains on your device in your location and is not transferred internationally by us. Any processing by Apple (for App delivery and purchases) is handled by Apple under its own terms.
Timeloop is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.
This website (where you are reading this Policy) is a set of static pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no trackers. It does not collect personal information from visitors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
